We are a humanitarian organization that provides free surgical services to enhance the lives of underprivileged children.
Children's Surgery International is a Minnesota-based, nonprofit volunteer organization that provides specialized medical and surgical services to underprivileged children around the world in a safe, compassionate and culturally sensitive manner and promotes in-country self-sufficiency through professional training and support. Many of these children have no other access to medical, let alone surgical services. Our surgeries include reconstructive surgery for cleft lips and palates, facial deformities, urological malformations and general pediatric surgery.
CSI also provides professional training, education and support to surgeons, nurses and other caregivers in the local communities. Our goal is to provide the locations we visit with the proper skills and resources so they can perform the procedures locally and eventually no longer require our services.
We are a humanitarian organization dependent upon volunteerism and donations from foundations, corporations and individuals. Our network of professionals and volunteers bring hope to children and their families in developing countries, one smile at a time.
